London-based capital markets firm LO:TECH has secured $12 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by MMC, with additional participation from existing investors Faction and 13 Books Capital, as well as Atka. The company, founded by CEO Tim Meggs and CTO Marcus Horsley, specializes in trading infrastructure designed for continuous operation across traditional, digital, and prediction markets.

The firm provides liquidity and execution services tailored for institutional clients navigating the shift toward 24/7, blockchain-based trading environments. LO:TECH aims to bridge the gap between traditional finance and digital assets, supporting the growing trend of tokenized real-world assets. The company's infrastructure is built from the ground up to handle assets that operate outside of standard market hours.

With the new capital, LO:TECH plans to expand its operations into the US and Asia-Pacific regions, specifically targeting New York and Singapore. The company intends to scale its execution services for institutional clients and is actively pursuing regulatory authorizations in these new markets, including the exploration of licensing options within the United States.
