Zhang Xue, the founder of the motorcycle brand Zhang Xue Motorcycle, is actively seeking a title sponsor for the upcoming 2026 Dakar Rally. During his visit to the Canton Fair, he publicly appealed for potential partnerships to support his team's participation in the race.
During the event, a representative from the semiconductor company YMTC expressed interest in a potential collaboration. Zhang Xue documented the interaction by sharing a photo with the YMTC staff member and confirmed that both parties have exchanged contact details to discuss the sponsorship further.
In addition to seeking sponsorship, Zhang Xue explored technical partnerships for his vehicles. He visited the booth of AutoFlight, a leading company in the electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) sector, to propose a deal regarding the supply of range extenders.
Zhang Xue highlighted the capabilities of his range extenders, claiming they offer the lowest weight and highest power generation in the market. The meeting concluded with both parties exchanging contact information to explore the possibility of a supply agreement.
