XPENG has unveiled the G9L, a flagship-level electric SUV tailored for the European market, at the Paris Motor Show. The vehicle will be produced in Graz, Austria, and features a three-row configuration as standard to meet local demand.
The G9L offers a range of 593 km WLTP and supports 5C charging, allowing for rapid replenishment. The SUV is equipped with dual-chamber air suspension, adaptive dampers, and 4-wheel steering to enhance handling and comfort.
The interior includes AI-enabled front seats with 176 sensors, a 23-speaker audio system, and a 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen. Drivers benefit from an 88-inch AR HUD and a 17.3-inch center touchscreen.
XPENG has priced the G9L starting at €74,990 in Europe. The company plans to expand its infrastructure by building thousands of megawatt-level chargers across the region, utilizing recycled vehicle batteries.
The model competes in the segment of three-row SUVs approximately 5.1 meters in length. It features a ternary battery system, which the company notes offers better energy density compared to LFP alternatives.
