Yandex has updated its AI-powered legal assistant, 'Neuro-lawyer', by implementing a new architecture based on a proprietary harness. This update allows the system to handle complex, multi-step legal tasks through a single user prompt, eliminating the need for sequential instructions.
The AI can now independently plan workflows, select appropriate tools for each step, and store intermediate results. If the system identifies a lack of necessary data during the process, it will request additional information from the user and adjust its strategy accordingly.
The updated system supports tasks such as analyzing contract revisions, assessing associated risks, and generating documents in DOCX format. Additionally, the AI can research relevant judicial practice and draft arguments for legal responses, which users can then review.
According to Yandex, the new architecture improves efficiency, as complex tasks now consume fewer request limits. The company has also updated its subscription terms: the 'Start' plan now offers 100 requests per month for 1999 ₽, compared to the previous 50, while the free tier remains at 5 requests per month.
