Yandex has updated its Drops earbuds, focusing on sound quality and noise cancellation. The sound profile now deviates from the Harman curve, offering clearer highs and deeper bass, with a volume increase of approximately 10 decibels. The noise cancellation system has been enhanced to better handle constant background noise, and a new wind detector automatically adjusts intensity to prevent humming.
Battery life for the Drops earbuds has improved by 15–20% during simultaneous use of active noise cancellation and voice activation. Algorithms now provide more accurate charge level tracking and better balance the power consumption between the two earbuds. Additionally, the Alice AI app on iOS now stays active in the background more reliably, and a new tips section has been added to the app.
Updates to the Yandex smart home ecosystem include a new night mode for the Station Duo Max, allowing users to completely turn off the display while keeping voice command functionality active. The display wakes up automatically upon touch or voice interaction.
The Home with Alice application now supports air fryers, starting with Demiand models. Users can control cooking time, temperature, and programs via voice commands through Yandex Stations or directly within the app by linking their accounts.
