Yandex Pay has begun a phased restoration of its payment and transfer services following a series of drone attacks on the company's data centers. The service is being brought back online gradually to manage system load, with plastic card and sticker payments already fully operational.

The company has raised interest rates on its 'Safe' savings accounts to 20 percent for the period from October 11 to October 17. For credit product users, including 'Super Split', the company confirmed that late payments caused by the outage will not be penalized and terms will remain unchanged.

The infrastructure damage resulted from three separate drone strikes on data centers in Sasovo, Kaluga, and Vladimir. Yandex officials noted that full recovery is complex due to the need to rebuild infrastructure while maintaining data security, with new equipment procurement potentially taking up to six months.

In response to the service disruptions, Yandex has warned users about an increase in fraudulent activity. The company is actively monitoring fake websites and advises customers to avoid suspicious links and never share confirmation codes, as attackers attempt to exploit the situation to steal funds or account access.
