Yadro, a subsidiary of ICS Holding, has deployed its domestically produced base stations in commercial networks across the Russian Far East. The equipment is currently operational in 37 regions throughout the country, including the Khabarovsk Territory, the Amur Region, and the Republic of Buryatia.
The company plans to expand its footprint by installing additional base stations in the Primorsky Territory and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) by the end of 2026. In May 2026, the company launched its first base station in a major city, Nizhny Novgorod, marking a milestone for its urban infrastructure deployment.
Manufacturing takes place at the Yadro Fab Dubna facility in the Dubna Special Economic Zone. The site has a production capacity of up to 50,000 base stations annually. A unified engineering team of over 3,000 people manages the full development cycle of both hardware and software components.
The BTS8100 model is designed as a 5G-Ready platform. Its architecture allows for a transition to fifth-generation networks through software updates, eliminating the need to replace the primary hardware platform. This approach aims to support long-term technological sovereignty in the telecommunications sector.
