Xiaomi has released a new firmware update for the Xiaomi Watch 5, identified as version OS 3.0.196.0. The update focuses on improving the reception of WeChat notifications, enhancing overall system stability, and resolving previously identified bugs, including issues with card display in the wallet feature.
The Xiaomi Watch 5, which launched in December of last year, features a stainless steel case and a 1.54-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1500 nits. The device is built with a dual-chip architecture, utilizing the Snapdragon W5 processor alongside the BES2800 low-power chip.
The smartwatch supports independent operation for various applications, such as Alipay and maps. Depending on the usage mode, the battery life reaches up to 6 days in performance mode and up to 18 days in power-saving mode. The watch is available in standard and eSIM versions.
