Xiaomi has released the Mijia Smart Thermometer and Hygrometer 3 Pro, updating its budget sensor line after four years. The device is priced at ¥114 and introduces a CO2 monitoring feature, which was absent in the previous version.

The sensor utilizes a power-efficient thermal conductivity CO2 component from Sensirion. Data is displayed on a 3.6-inch LCD screen with thinner bezels, showing time, date, temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide levels. A three-color indicator system provides visual feedback on air quality.

The device supports Xiaomi Surge Smart Connectivity and integrates with Bluetooth Mesh gateways. Users can configure automated actions in the Mi Home app, such as voice alerts via Xiao Ai speakers when CO2 thresholds are exceeded. Historical data is also stored in the app.

The sensor features a magnetic mount for metal surfaces and a tabletop stand. It is powered by a single CR2450 battery, which the manufacturer claims provides approximately one year of operation.
