Xiaomi has launched a crowdfunding campaign for the Mijia Bedside Lamp 3. The device is currently priced at ¥269, with the retail price set to increase to ¥299 once the campaign concludes. This release marks the first update to the product line since the 2018 launch of the Bedside Lamp 2.
The lamp features full-spectrum LEDs with a GFC solar spectrum matching coefficient exceeding 0.98 and a color rendering index of Ra90. The light output ranges from a maximum of 570 lm down to less than 1 lm. A specialized internal diffuser and matte outer finish are utilized to ensure even light distribution and a softer illumination effect.
Users can choose from 16 million colors, including 11 dynamic and 7 static lighting effects. Pre-configured modes include options like 'Snowy Mountains', 'Forest', 'Sunset', and 'Clear Sky'. The device is operated via an enlarged touch-sensitive panel on the top, which supports tapping for power and sliding or long-pressing to cycle through lighting modes.
