Xiaomi has officially launched the Smart 4G Camera 3, which will be available for crowdfunding starting November 4 at 10:00 AM. The initial price for the device is set at ¥199.
The camera features dual SIM support, integrating both China Telecom and China Unicom connectivity. This allows the device to automatically switch between networks for optimal signal coverage. Users also receive complimentary 4G data, eliminating the need for Wi-Fi or wired internet connections.
The hardware includes a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/1.6 aperture lens, capable of delivering 3K resolution images. It is equipped with a high-sensitivity image sensor and 940nm infrared lights for night vision. The camera offers a 360-degree horizontal and 109-degree vertical field of view.
The device incorporates AI-based detection for monitoring children, pets, and home environments, sending real-time notifications. It supports two-way audio communication and integrates with the Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem for smart home connectivity across phones, tablets, and TVs.
To optimize storage, the camera utilizes AOR all-day recording technology. This system intelligently manages video files by distinguishing between movement and static scenes, which helps reduce the amount of space consumed on a microSD card.
