Lu Weibing, head of Xiaomi's mobile division, has shared sample photographs captured with the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro Max flagship. The company confirmed that the new smartphone series will feature a dual 200-megapixel sensor camera system developed in collaboration with Leica.

The released images showcase the camera's performance across various scenarios, with an equivalent focal length ranging from 23 mm to 75 mm. Notably, the demonstration did not include super-zoom capabilities, focusing instead on standard and portrait focal lengths.

The official launch of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series is scheduled for September 23. The devices will be equipped with a 2-nanometer flagship processor, a next-generation SuperPixel display featuring a Smart Privacy Screen mode, and Jinshajiang batteries with capacities of 7000 mAh and 8500 mAh.
