Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for the Mijia Smart Variable Pressure Rice Cooker 3L, which features a 3-liter capacity and a dark gray finish. The device is equipped with a color touchscreen and supports 27 built-in functions. Users can manage the cooker remotely via the Mi Home app, which provides access to over 200 cloud-based recipes.

The appliance utilizes an 1175 W induction heating system with a 13,000 mm heating coil and a thermal sensor for uniform heating. It offers four pressure modes ranging from 1 to 2 atmospheres. This configuration allows the device to cook rice in 14 minutes while maintaining constant power levels.

The 3 mm thick inner pot is made of a titanium composite with a fluorine-free coating and plasma-sprayed titanium. It meets the second level of China's national non-stick standards. The system includes over 3,000 cooking programs, nine texture settings, and an 8-hour temperature maintenance function.

The retail price is set at ¥1,499, with regional government subsidies reducing the cost to ¥1,274.15. Official sales are scheduled to begin on October 30.
