The new Xiaomi Mijia Desktop Water Purifier 3 is priced at ¥1499. The device features a 2100 W heating element capable of reaching the target temperature in 3 seconds. It includes a 4.2-liter raw water tank and a 1.8-liter waste water tank, plus a detachable 2-liter pitcher for clean water.
The purification system utilizes a dual-core, nine-stage filtration process with a DuPont reverse osmosis membrane. It achieves a filtration accuracy of 0.0001 microns. The internal water circuit is free of silica gel and bisphenol-A, while a RISC-V architecture chip manages the release of six essential minerals, such as calcium, zinc, and strontium.
The thick-film heating element delivers a flow rate of up to 786 ml per minute. Users can adjust the water temperature from 40 to 99 degrees Celsius in 1-degree increments. The device integrates with the Mi Home app and supports NFC technology to store specific volume and temperature presets for individual containers.
The product is currently available for pre-order on the Chinese platform Youpin. According to the manufacturer, the membrane has a lifespan of up to three years, and the concentration of strontium in the filtered water is at least 0.2 mg/l.
