The Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 3 Max has launched on the Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding platform in China. The ceiling-mounted device is priced at ¥2399, which is approximately $357. Its design features a 9 cm thick housing and a 42-inch light panel.
The integrated lighting system offers adjustable brightness and color temperature ranging from 2700 K to 5700 K. It features a color rendering index of Ra95 and meets the RG0 standard. A built-in sensor detects human presence to automatically adjust the light settings.
The drying system utilizes a 770 mm wide air channel and a 1250 W heater. It combines natural airflow with a mesh filter for 99% antibacterial efficiency. Additionally, the device incorporates plasma technology to provide a dual sterilization effect for laundry.
The unit is engineered to support up to 45 kg of weight, accommodating up to 80 items of clothing or two blankets. It uses a 2 mm thick steel cable and a motor-driven mechanism. The 2.4-meter telescopic rod is divided into five distinct drying zones.
Users can control the height and operation time via a mobile app. The system supports scheduling, allowing the dryer to automatically lower during the day and retract at night for space efficiency.
