Xiaomi has launched pre-sales for the Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 7 Max in China. The device is available in two configurations: a standard model with a water tank priced at ¥4999 ($750) and a version with a direct water supply and drainage system for ¥5299 ($800).
The vacuum features a suction power of 45,000 Pa, the highest in the current Mijia lineup. For mopping, it uses water heated to 50 degrees Celsius, which activates automatically when the device detects kitchen or bathroom environments. The manufacturer claims a 99.99 percent floor disinfection rate.
The robot is equipped with three robotic arms designed to clean corners and edges along walls. It can overcome obstacles up to 6 cm in height. An integrated radar system aids navigation, while the low-profile design allows the unit to clean under furniture.
The device utilizes AI to identify over 320 types of objects and stains, adjusting its cleaning strategy accordingly. During wet cleaning, a built-in scraper removes dirty water from the microfiber cloth to prevent the spread of debris.
