Huawei has opened pre-orders for its new X2 series routers, with pricing starting at ¥478. The devices feature a book-like design and support Wi-Fi 7+ technology, which the company claims improves data rates in weak signal areas by 100% and reduces lag by 80%.

The hardware is powered by the Lingxiao 760 series chip, designed to optimize compatibility with Huawei terminal products. The routers incorporate a four-channel signal amplification system with four high-performance amplifiers to enhance signal penetration through walls and obstacles.

The X2 series includes NearLink gaming channels and a NearLink Bluetooth multi-mode gateway, supporting connectivity for over 3,200 brands and 400 categories of smart home devices. The system also utilizes AI Mesh networking to manage whole-home coverage.

Users can upload floor plans to the Smart Life app to receive AI-driven recommendations for router placement. The devices feature a Mesh light indicator system that displays signal strength directly on the top of the unit, and they support both wired and wireless networking.

The X2 Pro model is available in three colors: Earth Brown, Oak White, and Stone Gray. The chassis features a magnetic design for easy removal and supports 3D-printed custom covers. The routers also support dual-band roaming across 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies.
