OnePlus has officially confirmed the upcoming launch of the Ace 7 smartphone series, scheduled for October. The devices will feature an active cooling system equipped with an integrated fan, designed to prevent thermal throttling during intensive tasks.
According to OnePlus China President Li Jie, the engineering team focused on optimizing airflow to avoid common issues like blocked air vents. The new design utilizes two separate channels: one cools the internal SoC, while the other directs airflow toward the rear panel.
The placement of the air intakes is specifically engineered to remain unobstructed by the user's fingers during horizontal gaming. The system is designed to exhaust hot air upward, away from the user's hands, while simultaneously cooling the device's back surface.
Leaked specifications from industry insider Experience More suggest the lineup will include models powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processors. The devices are expected to feature displays with a 185 Hz refresh rate and 200-megapixel cameras.
The OnePlus Ace 7 series is already available for pre-order on Chinese retail platforms, and the official design of the smartphones has been revealed to the public.
