Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for the Mijia Water Purifier 3 1200G, with official sales in China scheduled for October 30. Early buyers can purchase the device for ¥1500, which is equivalent to $225. The system is designed for domestic use and has received certification for water purification in households with infants.
The device features a 13-stage filtration system capable of removing 145 types of contaminants, including heavy metals, chlorine, viruses, and bacteria. It achieves a 99% suppression rate for E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The unit uses physical filtration and includes a self-cleaning technology to prevent secondary contamination, with a total filter life of 50 tons of water.
The purifier offers a high flow rate of up to 3.74 liters per minute, filling a 150 ml glass in approximately 2.4 seconds. The hardware includes an IPX8-rated body and a display showing TDS levels and operation modes. Integration with the Mi Home app allows users to monitor filter life, adjust water output, and purchase replacement cartridges.
