The new Mijia DC Inverter Fan from Xiaomi is designed for year-round use, functioning as both a cooling fan and a heater. The device features a patented rotating mechanism that switches between warm and cool air modes depending on whether the unit is closed or open. It is priced at ¥808, which is approximately $120.

The fan is built with a cylindrical design, featuring a base diameter of 30 cm and a total weight of 6.9 kg. It is powered by a brushless motor, which the manufacturer claims provides consistent rotation and uniform airflow. The device operates with a minimum noise level of 38.4 dBA and can project air up to 10 meters.

Users can control the device through the Mi Home app, which offers three airflow modes: directional, natural wind, and a night mode. The oscillation angle can be adjusted between 30 and 150 degrees. For heating, the unit utilizes a 2200 W ceramic element that provides instant heat upon activation.

The heating system allows for precise temperature management, offering 100 distinct intensity levels. These settings are adjustable via the Mi Home application, enabling users to customize the heating output during colder months. The device also incorporates an extended vortex air duct to enhance the overall power of the airflow.
