Xiaomi has launched a crowdfunding campaign for its new Smart Plug 4 on the Xiaomi Youpin platform. The device is available at a promotional price of ¥49 until September 16, 09:59:59.
The smart plug features Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, which allows for remote control without the need for a separate gateway. The integration of MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies ensures stable performance when multiple devices are connected simultaneously.
Users can manage the plug through the Mi Home app and integrate it into the Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem. The device includes a high-precision chip for monitoring power consumption, providing daily, weekly, and monthly usage statistics.
The plug supports local timer and countdown functions that continue to operate even if the internet connection is lost. Additionally, users can configure the physical button on the device to trigger a countdown timer with a double-click.
