Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart IH Rice Cooker 2 in China, available in 3-liter and 4-liter capacities. The device features a modular design for easier cleaning and includes a 3mm thick inner pot made from fused titanium composite with a fluorine-free non-stick coating. The pot is equipped with side handles to prevent burns.
The appliance operates with a power output of 1300 watts and utilizes a 3D IH heating system with a specialized heating element winding to increase coverage. This configuration allows the cooker to prepare rice in 26 minutes. Users can choose from nine cooking modes, including steaming, stewing, and waterless baking, or cook with the lid open.
Integration with the Mijia app provides access to over 100 cloud-based recipes. The device includes a 24-hour timer and a 12-hour keep-warm function. The starting price for the new model is set at ¥688.
