Xiaomi has launched the pre-sale for the Mijia Smart Drying Rack 3 Max, priced at ¥2698.75 with government subsidies. This model introduces a semi-enclosed drying and sterilization zone, utilizing hot air circulation to speed up the drying process for clothes, baby items, and undergarments.
The device features three drying modes—standard, smart, and gentle—all controllable via the Mijia app. It is equipped with a 770mm air outlet providing 1250W of heating power, which is claimed to be five times more efficient than natural air drying. The unit also includes a 10W natural wind mode for delicate fabrics.
For hygiene, the rack uses antibacterial materials with a 99% efficacy rate and releases plasma from the air outlet to eliminate odors. It has been certified by the China Household Electric Appliance Research Institute for maternal and infant use. The structure includes five zones with a total length of 2.4 meters, capable of supporting a 45kg load.
The rack includes a 42-inch LED panel with adjustable color temperature (2700K–5700K) and brightness, featuring a Ra95 color rendering index. It utilizes 24GHz millimeter-wave radar for motion-sensing illumination. The unit has a 9cm thickness when retracted and supports both surface and recessed installation.
Integration with the Xiaomi ecosystem allows for automation, such as lowering the rack when a washing machine finishes a cycle. It supports voice control via Xiao Ai and offers a maximum lifting height of 1.3 meters. The system is powered by a low-noise DC motor and utilizes 304 stainless steel cables for durability.
