Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 3 Max in China, featuring hot air drying, plasma sterilization, and an automated lifting mechanism. The device is priced at ¥2698.75, which is approximately $405. It is designed to handle up to 80 items of clothing or two thick blankets simultaneously, with a maximum load capacity of 45 kg.

The dryer offers three distinct modes: standard, intelligent, and delicate. It utilizes a 1250 W heating element to dry clothes up to five times faster than natural air drying. A low-power 10 W mode is also available for humidity control. The unit includes a 2.4-meter-long drying area and a specialized surface for horizontal drying.

Equipped with a 24 GHz radar, the device detects human presence to automatically control the integrated 42-inch ceiling light, which features adjustable color temperature from 2700 K to 5700 K. The dryer is 9 cm thick when retracted and supports both surface and recessed mounting options in white or gray finishes.

Integration with the Mi Home ecosystem allows for remote control, voice commands via Xiao AI, and synchronization with compatible washing machines. The lifting mechanism, powered by a DC motor, has passed 6000 test cycles under a 45 kg load. Safety features include automatic stop upon detecting obstacles and a 2 mm steel cable system.
