The device utilizes dye-sublimation technology, offering a resolution of 313 dpi, 16.7 million colors, and 256 levels of gray. An integrated automatic lamination system protects prints from moisture and helps prevent fading over time.
Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth, eliminating the need for Wi-Fi and allowing multiple users to connect sequentially. The printer is powered by a built-in battery, making it portable for use during travel or events.
The Mi Home app provides various templates, photo booth-style layouts, and an augmented reality feature that adds dynamic effects to static photos via QR codes. The magnetic frame serves as both a display stand and a storage container for up to 20 prints.
