Xiaomi has filed a trademark for the name XIAOMI SU9 LUX, according to documents from a trademark gazette. The application was submitted on February 13, 2026, under Class 12, which covers automobiles. The trademark received preliminary approval on June 6, 2026, with an opposition period that concluded on September 6, 2026.

Industry observers associate the trademark with a long-wheelbase test sedan previously identified as the Xiaomi SU7L. Spy photographs suggest the vehicle measures over 5.2 meters in length with a wheelbase of approximately 3.1 meters. The design appears to prioritize rear-seat passenger space and comfort, potentially positioning the model as a luxury executive flagship.

The company has not confirmed the production name or specific technical details of the vehicle. This potential addition to the lineup would complement the performance-oriented SU7 Ultra. Xiaomi previously launched the original SU7 in March 2024, the SU7 Ultra in February 2025, and a new-generation SU7 in March 2026.

Xiaomi Auto reported record monthly deliveries of 40 015 vehicles in September 2026, marking a 32.71 percent increase from August. The company also noted that cumulative deliveries of the SU7 series exceeded 500 000 units over 28.5 months as of August. Additionally, the new Sky Nomad extended-range SUV series delivered 12 444 units in September.
