Xiaomi is expanding its flagship smartphone strategy by launching the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max on the global market. Lu Weibing, president of the mobile division, confirmed that these devices will be available outside of China by the end of 2026. The company plans to sell these models in Europe, Russia, Turkey, and Japan.
The devices debuted in China on September 23. Pricing starts at $895 for the Pro model and $1045 for the Pro Max, with a special transparent edition priced at $1490. A global presentation is expected in the second half of October, followed by the start of international sales.
International versions of the smartphones may feature reduced battery capacities compared to the Chinese models. The Xiaomi 18 Pro battery is expected to decrease from 7000 mAh to 6000 mAh, while the Pro Max will drop from 8500 mAh to 7050 mAh. Charging speeds remain consistent at 100W wired and 50W wireless.
Both handsets are equipped with new flagship Qualcomm processors and Leica camera systems featuring dual 200-megapixel sensors. The company decided to make this generation globally available, unlike the previous Xiaomi 17 Pro, which remained a China-exclusive release.
