Xiaomi has initiated a promotional campaign for its Redmi K100 Pro series smartphones, which were originally released in August. As part of the 11.11 shopping festival, the price of the device has been reduced from ¥4499 to ¥3085 on the company's official Tmall flagship store.
To achieve the discounted price, customers are required to apply additional platform-specific virtual currency known as Tao Gold Coins. If a user lacks sufficient coins, the platform allows them to borrow up to ¥300 worth of credit, which does not require cash repayment if the balance remains unpaid.
The promotion includes additional incentives on Taobao, where users can participate in a lottery for small cash red packets. Furthermore, both JD.com and Taobao are offering daily promotional red packets with a maximum value of ¥26888 during the 11.11 event period.
