Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Washing Machine Protector Pro Supreme Edition in China, a washer-dryer combo featuring a heat pump. The appliance supports washing up to 13 kg and drying up to 9 kg of laundry, with a retail price of $875.
The heat pump design allows for a 73% reduction in energy consumption compared to standard condensation models. A dual-fan system accelerates the drying process by 49%, while an optimized refrigerant circulation system improves heat exchange efficiency by 59%.
The machine includes 35 standard programs and 11 specialized modes. It features a high-density dual-layer filtration system to capture lint and debris, alongside a water electrolysis system that achieves a 1.3 washing efficiency ratio and 99% sterilization.
An integrated AI assistant helps users select programs based on fabric type, color, and stain description. The device is compatible with the HyperOS Smart Connect ecosystem, allowing remote control via the Mi Home app and voice commands through Xiaomi speakers.
