Xiaomi Auto has released the 291st edition of its Q&A session, clarifying technical details for the Pengcheng N90 Max Exploration Edition. The vehicle features a pop-up roof equipped with two built-in air conditioning vents that share the same blower and duct system as the rear vents on the first floor.
Users can manage the climate control via the central display, the rear mobile control screen, or through the Xiao Ai voice assistant. The second-floor vents utilize a paddle design, allowing for independent airflow control and direction adjustment. If the first floor is unoccupied, users can close the head-level vents to redirect more airflow to the upper level.
The roof cover is finished with the same paint process as the vehicle body. Customers can choose from four exterior colors: Butterfly Valley Blue, Distant Mountain Green, Volcanic Gray, and Cold Khaki. Regardless of the chosen body color, the roof cover will match the selected paint.
The canopy fabric for the pop-up roof is available exclusively in light khaki. According to the design team, this low-saturation, warm-toned neutral color was selected to ensure visual harmony and compatibility with all four available exterior paint options.
