Xiaomi Auto and the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute are set to present the results of their collaborative CMF project on November 11 at 14:00. The event will take place at the Huxi campus of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

The partnership, which began on March 22, focuses on integrating traditional folk arts with contemporary automotive design. The project explores new possibilities in color, material, and finishing, drawing inspiration from local culture in Southwest China.

The collaboration utilizes a CMF micro-major model, open to students across the institute. Xiaomi Auto design teams and faculty members lead the core curriculum and provide weekly guidance to students, combining industrial practice with academic expertise in traditional crafts.

Participating students work in groups to develop comprehensive CMF design proposals under the supervision of industry and academic mentors. The winning designs will receive support for the production of physical models.
