Volkswagen has officially opened orders for the entry-level ID. Cross electric SUV. The base model, known as the ID. Cross Trend, is priced starting at €27 995 in Germany, which is approximately $31 500. Production of the vehicle takes place at the company's plant in Pamplona, Spain.

The entry-level variant is equipped with a 37 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a 114 hp electric motor. This configuration offers a WLTP range of up to 201 miles, or 324 km. The vehicle supports DC fast charging up to 90 kW, allowing a charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 23 minutes.

The ID. Cross is built on the MEB+ platform and is also available with a larger 52 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery, which was introduced in July. This version provides a WLTP range of up to 265 miles, or 427 km, and supports DC fast charging up to 105 kW, requiring about 24 minutes for a 10% to 80% charge.

The SUV features a digital cockpit with a 10.25-inch instrument display and a 12.9-inch infotainment screen. Its dimensions include a length of 4 161 mm and a wheelbase of 2 601 mm. Volkswagen does not intend to release the ID. Cross in the US market, focusing instead on the launch of the ID. Tiguan in early 2027.
