Voicemod has introduced the Key Pocket, a hardware device designed to enable real-time voice modification and sound effects on mobile platforms. The device functions as an external audio bridge, connecting to Android, iOS, and iPadOS devices via a USB-C port. It allows users to alter microphone audio for use in apps like Discord, Fortnite, and Roblox, overcoming mobile operating system restrictions on direct microphone access.
The hardware features six programmable buttons for voice swapping and soundboard triggers, a dedicated mute button, and an LED dial for volume and voice adjustments. The device is compatible with magnetic accessories for attachment to smartphones and tablets. Beyond mobile use, the Key Pocket supports gaming consoles, including the Switch 2 and Meta Quest headsets.
The standalone Key Pocket is priced at $99.90. A bundle including a Voicemod Pro license is available for $129.90. The Pro license provides lifetime access to over 200 company-created voices and more than 76,000 community-generated options, along with custom voice creation tools and cloud synchronization features.
