Razer has officially unveiled the Barracuda V2 Pro wireless gaming headset, priced at $199.99 for the US market. The device features 40mm TriForce bio-cellulose drivers and supports THX Spatial Audio+ for 7.1.4 virtual surround sound when connected to a PC via Synapse 4.

The headset includes hybrid active noise cancellation, offering up to 70 hours of battery life with ANC off and 50 hours with it enabled. A 15-minute charge provides approximately 6 hours of playback. Connectivity options include Razer HyperSpeed Wireless 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 6.0, allowing simultaneous dual-mode audio.

The microphone system features a detachable HyperClear boom mic for PC gaming and a built-in beamforming mic for mobile use, both utilizing AI-driven noise suppression. The device weighs 285 grams, which is 55 grams lighter than the previous generation, and features a foldable design with memory foam ear cushions.

The left ear cup includes a magnetic cover for storing the 2.4GHz receiver. While reviewers noted the comfort and practical storage design, some feedback highlighted average microphone performance and concerns regarding the build quality of the plastic materials at this price point.
