Vivo has officially appointed Jay Chou as its imaging ambassador. The artist showcased the upcoming X500 Pro Max smartphone in a promotional video, demonstrating the device's design and features.

The X500 Pro Max retains the signature large circular camera module and dual-tone body design from its predecessor. The camera housing features a prominent blue Zeiss logo, and the model shown in the video comes in a colorway named Earth Echo.

The smartphone package includes a dedicated imaging kit consisting of a teleconverter lens, a protective case, and a professional camera grip. Additionally, the company introduced a rainbow-colored version of the X500 model called Sunny.

The X500 series will feature the Blue Map Light Imperial 900 sensor, CIPA 7.0 image stabilization, and an AI photography assistant. The devices support 8K native Live output, professional Log video hardware, and 4K 960 fps slow-motion recording.

The official launch of the new smartphone series is scheduled for September 21. The devices continue the design language of the previous generation while integrating advanced hardware for mobile photography and video production.
