Vicarius Inc. has introduced ScriptAI, an artificial intelligence engine designed to generate detection and remediation scripts for software vulnerabilities that lack vendor patches. The tool is integrated into the company's existing vRx platform to address the time gap between vulnerability disclosure and the availability of a fix.

The process involves the engine drafting remediation logic, which is then reviewed by Vicarius researchers. A deterministic judge evaluates the scripts without using language models, and each case includes a cryptographically signed evidence manifest. The entire sequence, from drafting to verification, takes less than one hour.

Scripts generated by the system are executed as native Bash and PowerShell commands at the operating system level. The platform includes safety features such as pre-checks and automatic rollback capabilities to prevent breaking changes in production environments. All outputs are stored in the vScript library.

ScriptAI represents the latest addition to the company's True Remediation framework, joining existing tools like vPatch and vShield. This launch follows the company's previous release of the vuln_GPT model in August 2023. The new service is available to all current vRx platform customers starting today.

Vicarius was founded in 2016 and maintains operations in New York and Tel Aviv. In January 2024, the company secured $30 million in a Series B funding round led by Bright Pixel Capital. The firm focuses on vulnerability remediation and automated security workflows.
