The newly released Venture emulator allows users to run Meta Quest exclusive titles on PC VR hardware. Unlike previous projects that required complex code compilation, Venture provides a Windows executable file for direct installation.

To operate the software, users must log in with their Meta account and download games to their local PC. The emulator is compatible with any PC VR headset that supports the OpenXR standard.

Venture utilizes the Google ANGLE graphics abstraction library to render games via the PC GPU using OpenGL ES. It supports both 64-bit titles and older 32-bit ARM games developed with the legacy Oculus VrApi without requiring modifications.

Confirmed titles currently compatible with the emulator include Asgard's Wrath 2, Assassin's Creed Nexus VR, and Batman: Arkham Shadow. Experts advise caution regarding potential risks associated with logging into Meta accounts.
