UserGate, a Russian cybersecurity developer, has announced the upcoming launch of its new GOST VPN solution. The product is designed for government agencies and commercial enterprises that require certified cryptographic information protection tools in accordance with Russian regulatory requirements.

The new VPN functionality will be integrated into existing and future UserGate solutions. The company is currently undergoing the certification process to ensure full compliance with national legislation and corporate security standards.

Interested organizations will be able to test the new product starting in November 2026. The company plans to begin full-scale commercial deliveries of the GOST VPN solution in the first quarter of 2027.

According to Igor Gaydash, head of special development at UserGate, the product aims to simplify the integration process for clients who previously had to combine UserGate systems with third-party cryptographic tools. This approach is expected to reduce the overall cost of implementation and system maintenance.
