Shanghai I Don’t Care Technology Co., Ltd. has launched Twoo, an AI application designed to act as a third participant in interpersonal relationships. Unlike traditional AI companions, the platform integrates into conversations between two people to facilitate communication, remember shared experiences, and assist in planning activities.
The AI functions through a three-stage process: remembering conversation history, understanding user personalities and interests, and taking action. Features include shared notebooks and reminders that help users turn discussed plans into real-world goals. The tool is currently used by couples, friends, families, and even strangers.
The company is testing two monetization models. The first involves selling in-app tokens called shells to purchase outfits for the AI character. The second focuses on professional use cases, such as collaborative writing and educational support, which may eventually require premium memberships for advanced features like increased storage.
Twoo is currently planning international expansion, targeting markets in North America, Japan, and South Korea. Founder Cobe Chen notes that the challenges of communication and relationship maintenance are universal, providing a foundation for the product's global growth.
