Twelve South has introduced the AirFly View, a wireless audio adapter designed for devices lacking Bluetooth connectivity, such as in-flight entertainment systems. The device features a built-in screen that provides visual guidance for pairing Bluetooth headphones, supports 24 languages, and displays battery status along with the names of connected devices.

The adapter is priced at $79.99 and has been available since October 27. It includes a carrying case and an adapter to connect the 3.5mm plug to dual-plug airplane headphone jacks. The device offers a battery life of approximately 16 hours and allows audio streaming to two pairs of Bluetooth headphones simultaneously.

The AirFly View also supports Auracast broadcast audio, enabling potential connection to multiple compatible headphones. While the core audio input remains a 3.5mm jack, the new screen interface simplifies the pairing process and provides real-time status updates for users.
