On October 4, US President Donald Trump announced the creation of the Super Intelligence Force (SIF). This task force is designed to coordinate federal government activities regarding superintelligence and manage interactions between the state, private sector, and public interest groups.

The leadership team includes Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton, Federal Trade Commission Chair Andrew Ferguson, Department of Defense CTO Emil Michael, and Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Cooper. The group will report directly to the President and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.

This initiative follows an executive order signed on September 29. Under this mandate, federal agencies are required to replace the term artificial intelligence with super intelligence in all official communications, policy documents, and public reports.
