Trek has introduced the Marlin+ 6 Gen 2, becoming the first North American manufacturer to integrate the upgraded Bosch Active Line Plus motor. This new drive system delivers up to 600 watts of power and 60 Nm of torque, while providing up to 340% pedal assistance.

The redesigned motor features a two-stage gearbox that reduces its volume by 17% and weight by approximately 0.5 kg compared to the previous generation. The unit now weighs about 2.7 kg and supports speeds up to 32 km/h, classifying the bike as a Class 1 model in the US.

The Marlin+ 6 Gen 2 is priced at $2,999. Bosch has also introduced several new components to its ecosystem, including the Intuvia 200 display with a 2.4-inch screen, a compact LED Controller, and the PowerTube 720 battery, which offers a range of up to 185 km.

Additionally, Bosch updated its ConnectModule for theft protection, utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy, GPS, and cellular connectivity to track stolen bicycles. While these components are part of a broader smart system update, Trek has not confirmed their inclusion on the new Marlin+ model.
