The Syitren RM1 is a wall-mountable CD player featuring a transparent acrylic frame that exposes its internal mechanical components and read head. The device includes a backlight LED and supports both standard audio CDs and data discs containing MP3 files.
For connectivity, the unit offers Bluetooth audio output with SBC and AAC codec support, alongside a 3.5-mm wired output jack. It is powered by a rechargeable 2000 mAh 18650 battery, providing six to eight hours of playback time, with USB-C charging taking one to two hours.
The project has secured over $540 000 in funding on Kickstarter. Preorder pricing for the base unit starts at $109, with bundles including the N200 Bluetooth speaker available for $139. Multi-unit packs are also offered, bringing the price down to $79.75 per device when purchasing a four-pack.
The RM1 competes with devices such as the Coolgeek M1, Clearframe CD Player, and Moondrop Discream 2. Technical specifications for the wired output include a dynamic range of over 70 dB and total harmonic distortion under 0.1%.
