A recent survey by the recruitment platform SuperJob reveals that 56% of Russians believe a sense of humor is beneficial for job hunting and career advancement. The study involved 1,600 economically active citizens who identify as having a sense of humor, along with 1,000 corporate representatives.

Data indicates that the perception of humor's utility correlates with age and education. Specifically, 59% of respondents over 45 years old value humor in professional settings, compared to 53–56% among younger groups. Furthermore, 58% of those with higher education see its benefits, versus 55% of those with secondary vocational education.

Income levels also play a significant role in this perception. Among individuals earning less than 100,000 ₽ per month, 55% view humor as a career asset, while this figure rises to 65% for those earning 150,000 ₽ or more.

From the employer's perspective, 51% of hiring managers consider a candidate's sense of humor an additional advantage during an interview. Conversely, 37% of recruiters do not view it as a competitive edge, and 12% remained undecided on the matter.
