The integration of generative AI into the Russian market is evolving across several tiers, including mass consumer use, professional application, corporate infrastructure, and commercial GEO. By 2026, neural networks have become a standard tool for both individual users and business operations.

Data from VCIOM indicates that 78% of Russian internet users have utilized AI services within the past year. Mediascope reports show a rise in monthly reach for specific AI platforms from 26% of the population aged 12 and older in October 2025 to 32% in February 2026.

The study utilizes the GeoAist methodology to analyze how brands appear in generative search results. Out of a total dataset of 16 428 checks, the researchers focused on 2 376 successful consideration and decision-based queries to evaluate brand inclusion rates.

The findings highlight a distinction between market leaders with high mention rates and the lower average inclusion rates of a broader, mixed portfolio of brands. This gap demonstrates the filtering mechanisms inherent in the current commercial AI search landscape.
