Tether Capital has invested in AIsa, a platform that enables AI agents to discover, access, and pay for data resources autonomously. The deal, announced on October 15, 2026, aims to integrate stablecoin payments into the platform's billing infrastructure.

AIsa currently hosts over 250,000 AI agents that have completed more than 100 million transactions. The platform offers a catalog of over 5,000 APIs, models, and skills, charging users per call rather than through subscription models.

The startup, launched in 2025, reported a 150x increase in agent users between February and June 2026. To date, AIsa has raised $6.5 million in total funding, including a seed round in July 2026 led by Alibaba and Tribe Capital.

The platform supports both fiat and stablecoin payments, allowing users to set automated spending limits. Tether intends to use this partnership to enhance its Wallet Development Kit and QVAC tools, furthering its focus on programmable money.
