Tesla Canada has updated the specifications for the Model 3 Premium Rear-Wheel Drive on its website. The vehicle now lists a range of 584 km and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.2 seconds, matching the performance of previous Fremont-built models.

The updated figures replace the previous specifications of 463 km and 6.2 seconds associated with the Shanghai-built version. The new listing also specifies a curb weight of 1,745 kg for the vehicle.

Orders for the Model 3 Premium RWD are currently paused in Canada due to the exhaustion of government quotas. The company indicates that orders may resume in March 2027 if additional quotas are issued.

Selling US-built vehicles in Canada remains subject to a 25% counter-tariff, which has been in effect since April 2025. This measure previously led to significant price adjustments for Tesla models in the Canadian market.

Currently, the only Model 3 variant available for order in Canada is the Performance model, priced at CAD 74,990. Tesla has not issued an official announcement regarding the return of Fremont-built vehicles.
