Ford has officially opened orders for the 2027 Mustang Mach-E, introducing a new Trail trim and updating the standard battery configuration. The manufacturer has discontinued the smaller battery option, making the 88 kWh extended-range pack standard for Select and Premium models. The performance-oriented GT and Rally variants continue to utilize a 91 kWh battery pack.

The new Trail version is based on the Select eAWD trim and carries a premium of $2,295. This model features a suspension upgrade with a ride height increase of 10mm at the front and 15mm at the rear. It is equipped with 19-inch wheels, Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires, and a 400 W onboard power system for external devices.

Pricing for the 2027 lineup starts at $39,995 for the entry-level Select RWD model. The Select eAWD and Premium RWD versions are priced at $42,995, while the Premium eAWD starts at $45,995. The high-performance GT and Rally models are listed at $50,995 and $55,290, respectively. These prices exclude delivery charges.

Ford estimates that the 88 kWh battery will provide a range of up to 320 miles for rear-wheel-drive models, pending official EPA confirmation. All 2027 models will include standard connectivity and security packages. The BlueCruise hands-free driving system remains standard on GT and Rally trims and is available as an option on other configurations.

Customer deliveries for the updated 2027 Mustang Mach-E range are scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2027. This release follows a series of incremental improvements to the model line, including previous enhancements to charging curves and towing capacity.
