Tenpay Payment Technology has announced the extension of its fee reduction policy for small and micro business entities. The program will remain in effect until September 30, 2027, providing continued support to small enterprises, individual business owners, and individuals engaged in business activities.
Under the updated terms, eligible business entities will receive a 10 percent discount on standard WeChat Pay transaction fees. This reduction is applied automatically without requiring additional user action. The company also offers industry-specific and scenario-based discounts to further lower operational costs.
The policy includes exemptions and reductions for cash withdrawal fees. Users operating with personal collection codes can qualify for fee waivers based on their specific business scenarios. Additionally, users of the Material Mall feature can earn points through offline transactions, which are redeemable for free withdrawal quotas.
Tenpay has been implementing these fee reduction measures since September 1, 2021. Following an initial three-year period, the program was extended in 2024 until September 30, 2026. This latest decision marks an additional one-year extension to the existing support framework.
