Chery has partnered with Australian tuner Ironman 4x4 to develop a range of factory-backed accessories for the upcoming Stockman pickup. The upgrades include an Apex front bumper with a 12,000-pound winch cradle, steel side steps, and a rear protection tow bar. These components are made from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and are compatible with the vehicle's ADAS sensors.
The collaboration extends to overlanding equipment, such as a Raid canopy capable of supporting static loads of 380 kg, along with roof racks and camping accessories. The suspension kit offers IM2.5 Monotube or Foam Cell shock absorbers, increasing ground clearance by 50 mm over the standard 247 mm. These parts are tested to comply with Australian Design Rules.
The Stockman features a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine and dual electric motors, delivering 469 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. A 34-kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery provides an electric-only range of 96 km. The truck offers a braked towing capacity of 3,495 kg and a maximum payload of 765 kg.
Accessories ordered through local dealerships will be covered by a 7-year manufacturer warranty. Chery plans to introduce a GVM upgrade for the model in the future. The Stockman is scheduled for an Australian market launch in February 2027, where it will compete against vehicles like the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux.
